It was a chilly yet strangely comforting December evening in New Jersey. I had just returned from my usual commute when I heard my wife’s voice — soft, shaken, and filled with worry. She was on the phone.

Her mother had just suffered a stroke. In India.

In that moment, everything else faded. We were over 8,000 miles away, and all we felt was helplessness. The questions came rushing in — What can we do? Who do we call? How do we help from so far away?

All we had were questions and a deep, sinking feeling of being too far when it mattered most.
In an instant, our world shifted.

Years later, it happened again. I was jolted awake in the early hours — this time, it was my father. He’d had a seizure. And just like that, the same wave of fear and helplessness came crashing back.
Different circumstances, same feeling. Panic, confusion, anxiety, distance!

I knew we needed a better way to care for our loved ones — no matter where we were in the world.

Over the next few months, I had the incredible privilege of joining hands with some of the brightest minds — not just in India, but across the globe. Together, we began building something that truly mattered. Piece by piece, a team came together: passionate professionals, compassionate doctors, visionary healthcare experts, brilliant technologists, and thoughtful designers.
